What LFS in sac carries a good sortment of lights...im looking for one MH with some florecents, or VHOs on the outside. Can anyone help me. IM headed there in a few minutes.

I was in Exotic last night and they have a LOT of lighting. Don't know about pricing though. But, most any store in town (Coral Reef Shop, Your Reef, Aqua Life, etc) can special order for you.

That's the old location of Exotic Aquarium. ;-) The new Exotic is located at:

LOL - didn't notice the address. When I originally did the google search, I got the correct address & had no trouble finding it. Thanks for pointing out my error Minh.
I can count on my friends for that kind of help! :P

Dude fish planet at howe and arden is where i got my lights. I checked several other stores but they didnt have any in stock. Fish Planet was very helpful and price matched the other stores. Long story short...i got the lights i wanted and i love them. I bought the coralife aqualight professional series (250w HQI) for a cool $630. i retrofitted it to my tank and its awesome as hell. ill sent pics later.

$630?

$630?

Is that including tax?
As much as I don't like that place.....but I still think you've got rip off at least $70.
I almost bought one tonight for $569.99 at Exotic.
Couldn't make up my mind should I get the 36" Current for $469 Hqi 150w or the Coralife 36" Hqi 250w.
The Current claim they are just as bright as the 250s.
Any thoughts?

The 150s arent suited for a 24-36" deep tank. If you have a tank 20+ inches deep you need 250s atleast. Go check the websites, you wont find the 250s less than 650. and yes that was with tax. Hope this helps

Did they have the 48" 150's and if so, how much? I am going to buy lights within the next day or two if it kills me! My tank is not as deep as your so I know the 150's should do just fine...

Andy, they did have the 48s but check with O st or exotic first, they are inherently cheaper. Ill talk to you later about it.
