If you want to a bit more stuff close by try Petswarehouse.com in Copaiguie right down the road on Sunrise Hwy.

In fact they were unpacking a new shipment this morning.

for anyone looking Mutts and Butts have alot of SPS frags in..Torts,Pink, Blue Millies,montipora, etc...alittle expensive, but very nice.

Pets Warehouse is probably your best bet, but it's a bit further out then Wantagh.
We don't really have any good Reef specialty stores, open.

Agreed! Forget the LFS, go see Mike's tank, he's got bright, healthy corals, and he won't kill you on prices for frags.

I have a seahorse tank and stick to mostly sofies - zoas, etc.

Interesting, I guess I need to learn more about what a good reef store is.

What compromises such a store?

Where is there one or two that I can visit?

Nah, you were right on by naming Pets warehouse.
They have more then the average LFS when it comes to saltwater/reef.

Country Critters is an example of a great Reef store, it's too bad that their prices are way too high. Which takes away from them being a great reef store.

I think if they were more competitive with their pricing, they'd get a lot more customers. Even if they're not making their 50 points their volume would go up considerably. (I figured I'd mention this in case any CC employees were reading this)
