Gas, what's the deal w/ aquacon?? i heard of their website and debated swinging by to see their store but they seem to have a negative connotation on RC... care to elaborate any info or you can pm me.

They are complete scammers. Just look at there website and you will see reef gardeners pictures on there.

They personally tried to pass off brown zoanthids as purple people eaters. I think they changed there name because the better business Bureau has over 60 complaints about them.

I would never do business with them. I still can't beleive they in business with so many people saying they have yet to get there money back from misrepresented corals.

I am talking about aquacon but I thought they changed there name.

We have members out a total of $600 on a "club group buy" for live rock (haitian) from SeaLife out of Sunrise, FL.

The owner is listed as Thomas Melrose from Plantation, FL.

Any additional information on this company or the owners may be helpful and would be appreciated.

Thank You in advance it is a sad thing that people handle business like this.

Well do u guys have a phone number invoice etc etc etc .
The regular biss ways to solve a dispute.

If u have not received or communicated wit h the guys a simple stop payment to your cc and dispute should help.

sealifeinc in the keys is good to deal with. I don't know about the one in sunrise.

The payment was not through a credit card. This was the second "group buy" from them. The first one went smoothly...this one, now has the FBI and local police invloved. I was just hoping that someone down there locally would have some additional information on SeaLife (not the one in the keys) or Thomas Melrose. I hate seeing this kind of thing happen to fellow club members and the club as a whole.

Part of me was hoping to find some explanation for all of it....an explanation beyond it just being a "rip off"
