So this question is just a question to see on how the locals feel. Would you all like to see another saltwater store in Albuquerque or are you content with south west reef. And for the ones that would what would you like to see more of (fish, corals, or hardware). Tell me what you think

I think competition would be good for us as consumers… It will be fun to see how thing change now that SWRC is not the only show in town anymore…

I would like to see a new store in the Albuquerque area. I am Most interested in fish, and filter/lighting equipment.

I for one would like to have a store on the west side/rio rancho. Wait maybe that's a bad thing. Will spend too much money.

I would love to see a new store around here - corals are my downfall!
+1
competition would be great for us as the consumer. petco, and clarks not competition. those who know go to swr for better quality and service. i was comparison shopping once at clark's vs swr. and the prices were beaten by swr by loads like the new koralia 1440 powerhead is not at clarks but they did have a 200gph powerhead mag for 90 bucks but i went to swr and got the koralia for 60 bucks. but have ya ever noticed if it has the words saltwater in it or the letters SW, the price is ten times more then its worth?

I thought everyone wanted more SPS!!! lol I have only seem a selected stores that actually can carry and support this coral. Usually they dont make it longer then the first week or brown out. :(

I wonder what store you are talking about brown corals? Who could it be hammmm"¦. Oh I know"¦.funny
Anyway to respond to the SPS needs"¦..

We have KEN The Coralman now, the lack of quality corals and SPS corals has been solved"¦good quality and good prices"¦

i like swr for sf fish and display.

I do wish for more equipment at another store clarks I find is dirty and out of date.

lighting...not so much, that all can be ordered for better prices then stocked.

Yes so we are in agreeance that another sw store is needed. Better prices up to date equipment. I think Albuquerque could do it.

Who's Ken?!

Ken is Scleractinia edimica , He is here on the westside and sells really nice corals..It is out of his house for now but is now the best solution for clams, sps, and high end lps corals..He has a proper setup to house them and is really good on prices (tranships into the country)

I don't think a new LFS is the right plea, but rather for the current ones to step it up.
