LFS's in Brisbane

Hi everybody, I'm moving to Brisbane in the every near future and I'm going to set up a reef tank :dance: The one problem is that I can't seem to find a good LFS in the Brisbane area I've been there for a visit and i went to a few but I wasn't very impressed. Neilsen's Marine Mates was one of the LFS's that i went to visit and it was quite good but if there's a better one I would love to visit and check it out. Thanks for any suggestions and some suggestions on where to build custom aquariums and some good online shops for equipment would also be awesome. Thank you to everybody who replies. :spin3:

100% Reef Safe is excellent for dry goods and livestock. Redcliffe.

Pet City - Mt Gravatt has a great selection of corals and some dry goods.

Gary Maher is very good for custom aquariums. He only deals through certain LFS - Atlas Aquarium for Gary Maher tanks.

Maryannes Aquarium for custom aquariums.

Avoid Aquariums R Us at all costs!!!!!!!!

There are a few that most people use.
Age Of Aquariums - Browns Plains shop and online

Guppies Aquarium Products Online - Gold Coast

Aquabella - New South Wales specialises in Royal Exclusive Bubble King

Reef Secrets & 100% Reef Safe are good for dry goods also.

Some of us use Sewatec.De & Seame.com to get stuff directly when the Aussie dollar is strong.

Thank You for your replies I've been checking out the sites and they look awesome :spin3:. I do however have a problem, the skimmer that i wanted to get was the vertex 180i but it seems to me that you don't have vertex in Australia. What other skimmer would you guys recomend?

I run a Bubble King and would recommend it. The Royal Exclusive Bubble King Sponsor forum on Reef Central would be the best for information and I find they give excellent advice and will answer any questions you have about tank sizes and stocking.
