I plan on using a lifereef overflow on my 110g system. My question is, how much water will be drained into my sump when the power cuts off. i am limited on space for sump size, i can't go bigger than 36x16x20. what can i use?
It will drain down to the bottom of the teeth. It that is a 48"x18" tank, it will drain back 3.7G for every inch it drops. Besides overflow drainback, the return line will back siphon as well. Keep the return outlet just under the surface.
