light cycle for chaeto

That pretty much sums it up. I got my fuge goin and put a 50watt grow bulb over it but how long should the light cyle be? 24 hrs?

I run mine from 9am to 1am because it is about four feet from my bed. If it wasn't there I would run it for 16hrs reverse of my tank lights.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention I sue a scrubber in place of cheato because for some reason I couldn't get cheato to grow in my tank.

I run opposite my tank...but since it also has an RBTA, I've cut back about 2-3 hours on both ends. Idea is still to help stabilize pH by running opposite the display though.
