light defuser?

What is this white plastic thing called. It's like egg crate I guess. I thought it was a light defuser and available at Lowe's but I can't find it. Anyone tell me what else it might be called and where I can find some (lol, I'll probably search all over again and find it in the shop teacher's room again). Thx.

Hi Laine, yes, it is a light diffuser panel. Look in the lighting section at Lowe's/Home Depot and ask a clerk. They should know what you are describing and point you in the right direction. When I bought my panel, it was 2' X 4' and I cut it to fit using wire dikes.

I'm making TANKS I'm addicted. Four days off in a row and what am I doing? PLAYING !! (Can you tell I'm excited?)

So far I've built 3 30-gallon sumps and 2 45-gallon tanks. I'm going to use the light defuser with the 45's to divide them into 2 separate tanks. You can slide them up and down between the braces to clean them (because I'll put wedding vail on the defuser to keep the fishies apart). AND I'm building a frag tank today (or tomorrow) too.

My husband thinks I'm wacked!!! By the end of tomorrow I should have 5 45's, 5 30's, 1 40 gallon frag tank, and 1 75 gallon tank completed. wOOt! (I wish our garage had air conditioning ).
