How much light do plate corals need cause i think mine is starting to bleach?? i have had it for about a month and it is starting to turn white on the edges

What kind of plate is it long or short tentacle?
Plates are funny. Ive had mine for several years and thought it was dead once. After over a year I picked it up off the bottom to use as a shelf for another coral and it came back to life growing 2 small plates about half dollar size. After about another year those died and now it has at least a dozen baby plates again quarter sized. Mine is the pink/green short tentacle.
I also have 6 HO T5's on that tank but had PC's before that and it grew under both.
Mine likes flow so I'd move it to some flow and maybe try a little lower in the tank if it looks like it's bleaching. Mine is about 8 inches below the surface under my T5's.
If it does die don't throw it out lol it might surprise you.
Heres a pict of mine over a yr ago when it had the 2 babies under T5's.
