Light for SPS corals in 31x19x19..

sunpower will do the job. only 5% increase in light output from sunpower to powermodule. i dont see why spend the extra.
other razor will do a very good job as well.

As shallow as it is just about any 6x24w t5 fixture with good bulbs should do the trick. I'm using a $129 6x24w on a 29 gallon (30x12x19) and have no problems having sps thrive. I am using mostly ati bulbs with the exception of 1 actinic and 1 12k

so, the light is enough to have good result...

For a tank that size t5 would be the easiest method to grow sps. halide its what I prefer but not for that tank size, I have halide/flor on my home tank. Leds are super easy to set up, I have them on my office tank, but in my opinion the hardest to dial in acro growth.

Yes it should be enough under the fixture. There will be about 6" on each side that the bulbs won't be directly over. A 24w bulb odd only 21.5" long. It will provide adequate light for lps and zoa. For sps it is good to have them directly under the bulbs. Here's a picture of my 30" tank with 6x24w cheap fixture.

I'd go with the 6 bulb sun power as well, great fixture. I use a Sunpower over and SPS dominant tank and have SPS frags growing in my sandbed, it'll be more than enough light.

I'd stay away from halide on such a small tank just for temperature reasons

ok, the alternative is a mini Lumenarc ...but its cover it's not enough..

do not think t 5 is a compromise, even though I prefer halide, there is plenty tanks of the month with t5 only. They are gentle on acros and would be ideal for a tank that deep. I like halides because my tank is 30" deep.
