light loss through euro bracing

say on a tank made with half inch acyrlic,euro bracing included,wouldnt an amount of light(that has to go through the acyrlic) be lost before it even hits the water? if so,is it a lot? better yat,if someone has a link to more info on this that would be great

It really is not much loss, since it's only on the sides of the tank.

It's nothing to worry about.
