Light mover with Profilux 3

I am playing with the idea of getting a Profilux 3 for my 180 gal. tank.
I was wondering if it would be possible to control my light mover via the digital power bar.
My idea is to move the lights (Aqua Illumination SOL) in increments, so that the lights are covering the approx. 6 ft. within a 10h cycle and starting in the same position in the morning.
Is this possible?

Thanks in advance.

With ProfiLux pretty much the SKY is the limit. It would require some hands-on tweaking but I don't see why you couldn't sit down and work out a routine to turn a small motor on every so often to move the light just a tiny bit. Sounds like a FUN project!

This can ne done with programmable logic. You just need to know the speed of your motor. If your motor moves one inch a second you just tell the motor to be on for x time, and times you want it to move.

You want to look for one with a voltage range between 1-10 volts. Most agro movers are 10 volt pwm I believe.
