light question

Okay, I finally have to do it! I'm setting up a 15 gallon for mantis, probably a wennerae, as it appears to be the easiest to find. I would like some hardy corals, too. Would a 150 watt MH be too bright, should I stick to a 70 watt?

Any mantis that lives under 10 meters can stand full sunlight. I believe wennerae is under 10 meters

lol its not a problem. Things like depth seem trivial in the home aquarium. Personally I wouldn't have known that if I hadn't read it on the forum.

Mantises (especially shallow/intertidal species) generally don't care about light so long as they have a nice dark burrow. Just be sure you provide what it needs to make that burrow.
