light suggestion for deep tank??

I have a 360 gal fowlr that is 4ft deep and 6ft long. For now it's fish only with 4 regular 40Watt florescent lights over it but was thinking about going LED to help coralline algae and maybe some mushrooms or other low light softies near the bottom. Don't know what watt bulbs or how many of the different colors. Who's good with LEDs I still use Metal Halide over my reef tank

The initial cost of LEDs scared me away. I went with T5s. My tank is 30 inches deep and is growing great monti caps at the bottom of the tank

that's what keeps me from using them on my reef but the 360 is tall and I don't have a lot of room on top

honestly with how tall the tank is. LEDs are going to give you best penetration. a lower optic would be best for LED use...

I see this is an older post but for the sake of technological innovation LED prices have dropped considerably. I plan on getting four of these for my 6 foot deep tank.
