lighting a 125

I have a light fixture on my 125 tall that has 2 250 watt metal halides and 2 110 watt VHO lights. I run super actnic on the VHO's. I run the the VHO's from 8am to 8 pm. I only run the mh's from 10am to 3pm. This seems to work well for all my corals and keeps the tank from getting hot. I am looking for lights to brighten things up and make the tank not so blue when the mh's are off so it looks better. Or should i run the 5 hour cycle on the halides from 3-8, which is the main viewing time. Or changes things entirely. Any ideas would be apperciated. Thanks

The easiest thing to do would just be to change the time period the halides are on. There's no reason not to do that, especially if everything else is working for you and the corals as is. The bulk of my lights are on from 5 - 11 for just that reason, I like to be able to see the tank when I get home.
