Lighting and pumps and the Profilux II

I am building a 50gal. mixed reef tank and am planning on purchasing a Profilux II when i get it running i plan on using T5's and have been having trouble finding ballast the Profilux can control what are some good ballast for this? also i want to run a closed loop system for circ. and would like to have a pump that the Profilux could control is there any on the market? I plan on upgrading to the Profilux three when it is released if this effects the suggestions thanks

I think this thread could really help some people as far as lighting and pump choices for the Profilux as i have not been able to find much info on this subject

Hiya

The ProfiLux can control any standard ballast through timer inputs. However as i said in my email, your choice for dimming is very limited in the 110V range and is restricted to 54w only, makes such as sylvania, Philips and Lutron come to mind. However if you put a 220V line in then your dimming options open up considerably.

As for pumps, again the ProfiLux can control ANY standard pump through timer inputs, but for true wave formation you have the options of Tunze and also very soon Koralia Hydor.
