lighting choices

i have been looking at the shorter lights for a 12-16 inch range tank and have notice the two easiest models(that i can find) are the coralife 18x2 and the current usa 18x2 does anyone know if one is better then the other one or have experience with them im looking to use them with the leg attachments over a 5.5 aga

the current usa havs a moonlight biult in which i like alot and its a better color IMO but it is alos about 40 dollars more

opinions?

I am going to purchase the Current USA fixture fo rmy 5.5g next week. I haev had 3 other fixtures by Current on my previous tanks thru the years. They work great, dont use too much electricity, and yes.."the moonlights are dope!" Good luck!

cool thanks man-- i was scared the moon light would be not very good but if its good ill go with the more expensive better looking one with the moon light

one question does that fixtures legs adjust to fit the 16" 5.5 tank?

If you want some more light take a look at the 2 x 32 watt retro. The ones with plastic sockets take up only13 inches, the ones with rubber boots are about 13 3/4 inches. Both will work over a 5.5gal.
