lighting cycle

I need some help from you experienced guys, my question is... right now my lights are on from 12 PM thru 9 pm at night and my LEDS take over from 9pm until 8 am, so my tank is in the dark from 8am until 12 pm when my atinics come on and then the MH at 1pm until 8pm, is this set up ok? I mean all my xenias and bubble corals are all shrunk all this time and even the fish are in their hidding places because they think still night, I try to feed them before I go to work but they don't come out at al, the room is not too lit meaning there's not much sun coming in, I also don't want an algie bloom due to the lights being on from 7 am 'til 9 pm (at least atinics)....your advise will be greatly appreciated....can you share your settings with a newbie? ;)

The timing sounds fine, it can often take time for livestock to adjust, but they will. If it has been more than a month and the fish and corals haven't adapted to the light cycle, then I'd be concerned that there are other parameter problems.

yes 3 timers (coralife), and its only been 4 days with this light cycle, but it just kills me to see them like this in the dark, I guess is just me....when the lights are on everything comes to live and they grow so big and bright...if I run atinics from 7am thru 9pm will this give me an algie bloom? right now my sand is white and my rocks have green and purple on them, all my parameters are normal, and my fish are fat, but my soft corals and pollips are shrunk with no light....
