Lighting Duration

I have a 75 gallon SPS/LPS tank with 2 250 watt MH and 2 65 watt PC. I run the PCs for 12 hours and i have been running the MH for 4-5 hours. They are about 5 in off the water. My question is should i be running them long or shorter? I want to run them longer so I can see the tank with MH more often or is the time i have good enough?

The 12 hour photoperiod of the pc's is long enough i would not go longer. You could run the mh's a little longer if you wanted.

Just move the photoperiod for the time when you are home most.

My photoperiod is 13 hours right now:

Blues+violets: 13 hrs, 12:00pm noon - 1:00am
Blues+white (blue:white ratio 3:2): 9 hrs, 2:00pm - 11:00pm
All on (blue:white ratio 2:3): 5 hrs, 4:00pm - 9:00pm

K thanks for the suggestions. I am also wondering if they might not be on long enough of not on enough? Some of my corals are getting paler and i originally set my photoperiod to 3 hours of MH when they first went in and I just changed it longer because they were getting paler. My Chems are solid so there is no question about that. I thinking it might be the lighting.

I run 2 250 radiums and 2 T5s (purple + and blue +)

noon - T5s on
2 PM - Halide #1 on
2:30 PM - Halide #2 on
8 PM - Halide #1 off
8:30 PM - Halide #2 off
10 PM - T5s on

I have LED moonlights that turn off at midnight if i want to see after 10 PM.
