Lighting for a 210g 7' x 2' x 2'

Hey all just looking for some input / recommendations for my father. He has a 210g euro style tank he picked up about 2.5 months ago. It came with 3 x Ocean Revive Arctic-T247s and he just isn't satisfied with the lights so he's looking to replace them. The original owner was running just a FOWLR tank. My father is wanting corals in the tank and doesn't like the lighting provided by the T247s.(2 new model and 1 old model)

He is starting with soft corals and would eventually like to get SPS in the tank. I've made a few recommendations for 2 x Kessil AP700s, or 4 x Kessil a360aw, as he likes the look of these lights. He may mount them inside his current canopy, or consider removing the hood entirely to use their respective mounts.

There was the consideration of supplementing his current lights with T5 retros as there is plenty of room inside the canopy over the tank.

His price range is up to 2000$ and he would prefer to stay with LEDs.

Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Well.. for starters.. What doesn't he like about the current lights?
color? power? looks? something else?

Oh I'm silly for not even including that -

He doesn't much care for the color as its incredibly blue and he finds it pretty distracting to look at. Also they just don't seem to be capable of providing enough light for corals in his tank currently. He has some large groups of zoas he acquired and has had some great difficulty getting them to acclimate to his lighting. The higher he is able to place them, the better they are doing. However with them being near the highest point in his tank ( only about 12 or so inches above the sand bed ) he is not confident he will be able to do much with SPS corals with the current lighting.

He will be creating some additional rock structures that will be a bit taller in the tank. He has planned to build a few areas that come up to about 3" below the waterline.

The lights themselves are mounted about 15" over the water. Adding that + the depth of his tank = he wants new lights lol.

Physical appearance of the lights themselves isn't so much important as he will most likely mount them inside the canopy.

Since he is just getting started I'd suggest he sticks with the OR T247. They are a good light and not any more blue than any other led fixture. In fact some newer ones are even more blue.

Live with them for 3 to 6 months and research new lights. He probably shouldn't be adding any sps corals until then anyway. Rushing into a bad decision now and spending money on lights he really doesn't need is just foolish IMHO.
