lighting for a sps 40 breeder?

I'm currently putting toghter a 40 breeder and have a aquaticlife 24" 6 bulb t5 fixture that Im planning on running until I figure out what lighting to go with. What would be my best option for a sps dominate tank?

I ran a tek 6 bulb t5 over my 40 breeder works great. I switched to a 120w 14k led fixture from aquaruimleds.com. Pics can be seen in the chinese led thread (the ones of my tank are on page 7 and 17).

I am doing a 40 build and I went with 6 39 hot5 and I feel for how shallow the tank is that it should be fine.

Thanks guys for all the great input. I like the programmable options of leds but not sure if the growth. I guess you cant go wrong with t5

Heat and electricity cost can be a concern in Ca, but I think you will be fine with a 40 gallon tank.

I run a 250MH and 2 T5s. i recommend it. but if you want to do the all T5 thing, either a 6 bulb Tek fixture or a 4 bulb ATI fixture. 6 bulb ATI fixture is a little overkill on the 40b, but it can be done if hung high.

X2! a 6 bulb ATI fixture will fry things in a 40 breeder unless hung really high above the tank. I would do a 6 bulb tek, more color options over the 4 bulb.

That radioing looks great. The coverage looks good. The only reason I steered away from them at first is beacause I was told I would need two.

I have a 6 bulb, 39 watt TEK fixture over my 40 breeder, and that is more than enough light. Having 6 bulbs allows me to get all different types of color -- and still get plenty of growth.
