Lighting for a zoa/paly frag tank?

I want to setup a frag tank for my zoas and palys. I'm thinking I'd like to to start off with a 29 gallon tank. Whats the best lighting I could use that won't cost an arm or leg? I was thinking maybe VHOs? What are my options and were do I get it?
Thanks,
Mike

T5s are more cost efficient IMO. Plus there is a broad range of spectrums to choose from.

If your going for cheap you could get a metal halide setup for as much as all the t5 bulbs, endcaps, ballast, individual reflectors, etc.....

a 150 or something would be good.

for a 29 gl. frag tank I would opt for 250 to 400 w 20k MH SE-I prefer XM 20k on an M59. good luck!

if you are just looking for good quality lighting for a frag tank i'd use a 250 mh pendant like geoxman said. you can get a lot more bang for the buck. there are some really good deals on used setups online.
