thats an picture when i first got them.now one on one side and the other is on the other side of they tank. they seem to always keep distance from each other.when the big carpet gets to close the little one moves to the other side by morning.

Your carpet anemone looks really nice. It looks like you have a Haddoni carpet. But honestly, I don't think the lights you have are going to be strong enough to keep it for the long run.

haddoni do fine under pc light most of the time. 200w in a 46 should keep a haddoni for a while.

Really? I have only kept them succesfully under metal halides. Did you feed yours a lot or have any bleaching problems?

Haddoni in the wild are collected in deeper water than gigantea and magnifica some of the brigter colored ones are collected shallow but the green that is in the picture is not one of those.

200w pc would definetly be ok for some of these species

I think they are saying the light you have is fine. You do not need to go out and buy a new 200w PC lights. you already have 200w worth.

I personally would never keep any anenome (save the non-photosynthetic ones) in anything less than t5s, vhos, or mh's. They are light-craving creatures, and pc's just dont cut it imo.

lots of folks keep BTA and haddoni under pc it just need to be allot of pc for years people kept haddoni under NO florescent.
