Lighting for my new NANO reef tank 45x40x20 cm- AI PRIME 16 HD or Radion XR15?

Hello everyone,

I am looking for Lighting for my new NANO reef tank 45x40x20 cm. I am new in this hobby. I am looking for between - AI PRIME 16HD or Radion XR15, but i am not sure if Radion XR15 its not too strong for this dimension, also if i use low intensity. Any reccomendation? I will plan to have in tank LPS and SPS

Welcome to RC!

I don’t have any direct experience with either light, however both will definitely get the job done. If you think you’re going to be upgrading in the future, I would choose the XR15 out of the options provided. The key, as you mentioned, is making sure it is adjusted properly so you don’t blast the tank with light, which is easily done with both fixtures. The only issues I hear about regularly is issues with the Mobius app that controls the Radion. Hope this helps some!

I have very limited experience with LED as I just recently switched from metal halide to LEDs. But, based on my research, I'd agree that the Radion would be the way to go.
