Lighting for Prop Tank + Stocking

36x18x16 tank ~45G. Used to house and propagate SPS. Corals will be suspended 6-8 inches off the bottom of the tank on a light diffuser.
I am thinking a pair of seio 620s for nice easy flow. Plus about 400G pushed through from my main display.

Here's my three thoughts for lighting:

1. 250W ROIII Pendant hung ~8-10" off the surface. (Most expensive)
2. 2x150W PFO Pendants hung 4-6" off the surface (cheapest I already have 1 set already).
3. 6x39W T5ho SLS Tek Fixture (nicest looking almost as cheap)

I am starting to lean towards the T5 setup. It will look nice, the wife wont hate me (important), and add less heat. Some of the par studies suggest I may actually get better light out of the T5 Setup.

Now stocking. I am thinking Trochus/Astrea/Cerith snails and a 6 line wrasse, any ideas for a small herbivourus grazer?

Thanks,

Shane

I would go with the T5 system. Many havereported good results using T5. As for stocking. I would just do snails. With no fish there is no need for feeding. Low nutrients.
