I am trying to setup a 5.5 gallon pico reef, tank is 16X8"(top). I ordered a temporary 20W 8" 50/50 actinic bulb made by Coralife to fit in the incandescent screw socket on the hood (tank is made by tetra). But, it has a combined total wattage of 12 (too little?), (6 per bulb). There are 2 bulbs, and 1 is actinic, one is full daylight (10000K). But, the bulbs are 1 inch longer, they are both 9" long.
What light is the best for this setup? Also, if there is a better setup, please mention. I live in Canada and a Canadian based site is preferred
