I have an Current Outer Orbit system for sale, 48" 2x150w Metal Halides and
2 X 130w Power Compact Actinics. It has built in cooling fans and double power cords to allow dawn to dusk timing. The unit is a little over 2 years old and in excellent condition. One of the built in MH ballasts has gone and I have been wanting to switch to T5 so I am selling it. I found the replacement ballast new from manufacturer for $65 and is easily replaced with a few screws on side of unit. Three months ago I purchased brand new 130w Actinics and brand new Radium 20K halide bulbs. I have been thrilled with the Radiums ( should be at $90 a pop) and the color on my SPS has never been better. The problem for me is the heat produced my MH lights, my aquarium is in a small room and it gets hot in the summer, I managed to keep the tank below 80 but it heats up whole house so decided to switch to T5. The unit was $600 new and the cost of the new bulbs I just replaced were almost $300. I am selling all for $100 and you will need to spend $65 on a new ballast. PM me if you are interested
Thanks Mike

Many thanks to chefmur and the awesome light fixture i got from him!
He spent lots of time talking to me about his gorgeous 75 and giving me tips on what I can do to help mine along. He has several beautiful SPS colonies in the making, and some nice ORA frags that he is growing out. He siad that he was looking forward to fragging, both to share his diversity and to offer some great corals at sweet prices.
Just wanted to sing his praises and say thanks for his time and effort!!!!
He seems to be a great member of this reefing community,
David

David,
Nice to meet you and your son yesterday, let me know how the lights and corals work out for you. Let me know if I can help you with anything else, like I said there are a lot of opinions out there on what it takes to have a successful reef tank, I just know what has worked for me and I am glad to share it. Thanks again for the kind words and picking up my lights.

Michael
