Lighting hood

Does anyone have any ideas on how to hinge, or lift a canopy? My mother has a 90 gallon bowfront and cant lift off the canopy. Since it is so tall she cant reach the bottom or place corals without help. The tank is setup in her living room so whatever the ideas are they must look nice and finished when done

you can cut up the sides and across the top ... Where the side joins to the bowfront . You then attach piano hinge across the top Not visible due to the height. The bow front piece will sit against the sides
