lighting how to upgrade

i have a 24in 29 gal eclispe hood
but the lights in it are not strong enough for a reef set up does anyone know how to upgrade it
i have found that there are some lights that i can get for it that have full spectrum lighting for it but the watts are 18w will this do or do i have to get 75w vho lights if so i need to find somehow to put it into this set up

what i would do if it is at all possible, is take off the hood completely and buy a t5 HO setup...the 24 inch bulbs (which are 24w). If you were to get 4x24w t5 HO you could keep whatever corals/anems/clams you wanted.

I got no clue on the size of the tank really (other than 24, which should be helpful) but would this light work?

you can hang it above the tank or i think you could even get legs for it since it is 24 inches like your tank.

well its a 29 gal the lights are 24 in
i cant just change the hood because it is a eclispe and the filtraion is in it also so i have to change the lighting thats in it

the filtration is in the hood too? That blows...do you have a link or picture of your setup? I'm sorta interested in what that hood looks like.

And do you have any live rock?

have you tried nanotuners.com? I know that they have a lot of the upgrade lighting for those systems.
