lighting levels

I think the local library has an old Sprung book that gives light levels from 1 to 10. From what I understand, multiply by 100 to get rough PAR recommendations (but I'd take that as an upper limit -- I think x50 to x75 is a better multiplier):

I noticed generally that mushrooms are 1-3, LPS 4-6, SPS 5-10 -- but depends on the corals. I had a hammer melt away under 600 PAR -- probably could have used lot less. And had mushrooms grow (small and shriveled looking) under 600 PAR -- but many let go and floated away.
