lighting options for a 7g mini bow

So I have setup a 7g mini bow and I am looking to get a better light for this tank. Currently it has a single strip light with an Aqua Glow bulb. its a 14w bulb and 18k it's very blue, and makes the tank very bright. I have 3 small zoa frags in there, and they see to be doing well, they are open and appear very healthy. I would however like to put something stronger over the tank, as I would like to keep some other softies in there too. So does anyone have an suggestions? the tank is 17" from edge to edge. I was thinking about a small PC fixture, or 2 and maybe suspend them over the tank like a small pendant.

Hi Larry,
When I had a Mini Bow I used the stock housing for the light and add a 32 watt PC retro to it. The best thing was that the tank still looked stock and the light sat right on top of the hood. After I sold the tank I put a new bulb in it and used it for my fuge, worked great. I still have it with a 3 month old 50/50 bulb if you want to buy it.

Larry, I had the same 32-watt pc fixture above my mini bow for almost 2 years. I was able to keep just about anything that I wanted in the tank within reason. It was a retro fit system and fit into the stock lighting space allowing the tank to maintain its "stock" appearance.

Looks good Larry. Now you just need to drill it for a sump.
It is not that hard really. Plus you will get everything off the back and out of the tank. I'll see if I can dig up some old pictures of my drilled Mini Bow.
