Lighting options for my 500

I am in the process of setting up this 500 gallon acrylic. The dimensions are 120" x 30 X 30. There are 3 openings on the top measuring 29" lenght and 20" wide. The original idea was to have three Mh pendant stule fixtures over these holes and creating 3 bommies of corals with high lighting needs. I am curious to see what other ideas others would come up with here. Thanks.

I think MH are probably the best way to go with the tank you have.

It's too deep (IMO) to buy T-5's, but just barely.

I have a similar tank, but it is 8' instead of 10' long. I think 400w mh pendants are the way to go. You would need 5. I have 4 lumenbrights on my rig... then can add supplemental actinics if you desire (depends on the mh bulbs you choose if necessary, but probably desirable).

Seth,
So you have 3 openings on the top off your tank as well ? How do you deal with the crossbrace issue ? Which fixtures are you using ? large, mini's, mini wides.
