Lighting over a 120g Metal Halide ??

I am going to buy me a new 120g RR in a few days !!!!! so excited, but I was curious what lighting should I put over that size tank.

The corals I like are really ALL softies. Mainly zos, mushrooms, and plan to get Acans and blastos. Would like to get a clam or 2 one day but that is not a must.

I was thinking of getting 2 175w XM20k Lumenark 3 minis to put under the canopy. Do you think that would be enough for what I plan to keep.

Im 99% positive that i'll never have stony corals in there like acros or montis etc.

If your not intersted in SPS that lighting would be ok.

I think that lighting would be enough for SPS depending on how clean you water is.

I have 2 luminarc mini's over my 120 and it's perfect.

Just saw your site and it looks like the Minis will fit nicely over the 120 and not up alot of room.

I would go with 2-250w right now and be able to put whatever you want in your tank down the road.

I agree go for lighting in case you ever do decide to go SPS. I swore I would never go SPS, I lied to myself.
