Lighting Question for an SPS tank

Hello,
I have a 24 gallon aquapod tank that I have modified quite a bit and is growing SPS great! Here's my question/statement. I have a 150 watt MH light sitting over it thats 14k and I was thinking of adding marineland's reef bright LED's. Would this be too much lighting, or would it be beneficial?

Why not try it out, worse case the corals will become pale and bleach out. But if you notice that happening you simply remove it before any damage happens.

I would try it for supp lighting. Sps can take a heck of a beating with lights. As long as you dont suddenly change the lighting and slowly work it in it will be fine.

Personally, I would leave it alone. If everything is going ok, why mess with it?
