Lighting question for shrooms, softies,zoos etc

I asked this question in the lighting section, but thought I might get some more insight here. I just purchase a 56 gallon column tank (30" wide, 24" tall and 18" deep.). I have been doing a lot of reading and have decided to go with the T5's.

Now the question is how many? I will most likely stay with Softies, shrooms, and LPS.

I can easily get 6 24" 24 watt bulbs over the tank in a custom canopy with retro's.

I could also build a hood that would overhang on both sides a bit and get either 4 or 6 36'" 39 watt bulbs over it. This would put light out to the corners etc. Plus fixture is 36" so the bulb would be a bit less and most of the bulb would be over the tank.

would the 6 bulbs (either 24" or 36") be to much light for shrooms etc...

Ant lastly the kits come with either 10k or 03 actinics or any combination of both. what would be a good combo?

i would say if you go with a tek T5 setup 2-4 will be plenty but if you go with a setup that only has 1 reflector for all the bulbs go with 4-6 bulbs
as for combo of bulbs i would go even on each bulb 1 of each, 2 of each ect.
