Lighting question, Please help

I have a 30 gallon long tank that I will be building soon.
demensions are 36"x 12"x 16"
What lighting would be suitabe for keeping anything from SPS to Mushrooms (pretty much anything I wanted)?

hey i've got a 30gal tall and i was told for my tank that a single 175watt or 250watt 20000k MH would be perfect, but because your tank is longer and not as deep i would say 2x150watt 20000k MH or 6 T5's (personally i like the shimmer of MH)if this doesn't help keep asking, that's what i had to do.

Check this 36" 5 bulb T5 kit out. I would recommend these 5 bulbs installed in this exact pattern.
