lighting question

I was looking for some opinions on lighting, I had 2 250w se mh xm 20k bulbs on my tank last year and my ac broke last summer and it sucked and vowed to get a t-5 fixture so I did in October last year a 6 bulb tek with ati bulbs. so I have an all sps tank and i'm not really impressed with the growth I have seen in the last 6 months and my coral don't look happy had some bleaching issues at first and now I have some tissue reccesion, all water parms. are good and are checked every 2 days, Do MH typically grow sps quicker than t-5? thinking about going back to MH:beer:

Most people will say mh is better light! It grows corals better than anything out there but it has its disadvantage being heat.

6 bulb t5 should be plenty of light to keep most acro. You might could blame the huge change in lighting but I would put my money that something else is going on. Changing back to mh could continue to stress the corals.

Your issues dont seem to have anything to do with lighting. I would bet it has more to do with water chemistry. IMO ive run both and I love my ati ten bulb powermodule. I have great growth and color
