lighting question

Hello everyone

I'm new here.

I'm thinking of a light upgrade. My tank is a 50G. What I keep are mostly softies, LPS and a RBTA. If I go with a MH/T5 combo 2x150w HQI+2x39w, will the heat be a problem since I've no chiller? Or I just go with 6x39w T5?

Any recommendations?

You won't have a heat problem as long as that the ambient temp in the house is reasonable and you have adaquate air flow in the hood.
