Lighting Question

I am begining a new tank build soon, and I wanted to know what everyone thinks would give me the best spectrum/light coverage over the tank. Dimionsions are 24",24",22" (LxWxH)
I plan on keeping only sps in the tank with maybe a clam or two.
Right now I am pretty trorn between 6 t-5's or a 250 w mh
What do you guys think?

I would do the 250W MH (why replace all those bulbs with T5), in a luminarc mini pendant. Plus I like the look of the sparkle you get with the MH.

I agree with otolith, the only caveat being heat. If you have a strategy in place for heat management MH hands down.

Yeah the tank is going to be built in wall in the basement so it will be plenty cool. Where's the best place to buy that reflector?

Does it hold a DE bulb? Also, what makes this better than the PFO mini?

I don't know if it'll hold a DE bulb, and if it doesn't, I'd probably go with a ROIII reflector instead. The "spread" on the luminarc reflectors is amazing. Do a search for them and see what you come up with.
