Why do some fixtures have external ballasts for MH, and some don’t? Are the fixtures that don’t have external ballasts much heavier, so more difficult to lift into place?
Can a fixture be used with a canopy, if there is adequate ventilation, instead of a retrofit kit?
What is the advantage of putting together a lighting “ensemble†by purchasing/choosing the individual ballasts, bulbs, reflectors, etc as opposed to just purchasing a fixture with all included (Aqualight, Outer Orbit, etc.)?
