ok so i'm setting up a 29 gallon tank,,, my second saltwater tank... i need to get a light for it and i'm a little torn between what i should be looking for.
i have a coralife light on my smaller 20gallon tank which has some zooanthids, mushroom, fogspawn and some other stuff... eventually my smaller 20 will be a tank for maybe just 1 or maybe 2 dwarf lions or some other intesting unique fish and only that, with maybe some other inverts like i already have...
for the new tank i want to have more inverts and things like that and a few more smaller fish to swim around. the light i have is about 24 inches accross and fits the top of my 20 gallon perfectly, i've been told i could use that size light for my 30 gallon to because there are extentions that will hold it up....
i'm debating getting the same light fixture for the larger tank because i just feel like eventually i'll want something better for anemonies and things like that in there.
so heres the actual question... what type of light options do i have for the 30 gallon that wont completely break my bank,, but will allow for more interesing sea life in the future??? Or could i just use the light form my smaller tank get get something else for that?
