I'm lighting a 46gallon bow. Currently I have 2x96 PC lighting with 1 actinic bulb and a 50/50. I also have 150HQI hangon MH that I keep on the right side of center brace with a bunch of healthy SPS underneath.
Anyways, I swapped out the 10K XM bulb for a 14K Phoenix. The bulb looks amazing(I like Blue) but the 50/50 is putting too much yellow in the tank throwing off the effect.
If I pull the 50/50 out and just run another PC atinic bulb, will that screw up my system? It definitely will make the tank darker, especially on the left side with no MH, but all I have over there are some rapidly multiplying Xenia and shrooms......You think that's too blue will I mess my SPS up, or will this bring out more colors? Just running one of the PC atinics and 14K Phoenix looks sweet....
I wish they made 14K PC daylight bulbs....
