I have a few different questions.
The first one pertains to my 36x36x24 135g cube I am having built. It will be veiwable form all four sides, with a center overflow. I don't know how I should light this tank... It will be a mixed reef, with lots of fish. I was thinking either 8 T5 36" ligths on an IceCap 660, or a single 250w halide with a Luminarc int eh center of the tank.
What do you guys think?
Next question is also about the 135g. What should I do for a skimmer? I was thinking about an ASM G-3......but I don't know mucha bout ASM skimmers. I have a EuroReef, and love it, and was also thinking about the RC 8-2. It seems like a sweet skimmer. It would work to the best of its ability if it were to be hooked up directly to my overflow, right? Does anyone have any pictures of skimmers being Gravity Fed?
The final question is for my current 20g SPS reef. I am in need of a new 175w halide bulb. Currently, I am using an XM 20k...but I wasn't pleased with the growth, and would like something alittle less blue with alot of PAR. Has anyone used the 14k Hamilton?
