I have been running 2 54watt Odasea t-5 units. I thought that was some ok light, but I knew individual reflectors, good bulbs and better ballasts would give me a little more punch...

So last night I completed the upgrade. I put in good t-5 bulbs, IceCap Ballasts and insividual reflectors. OH MY GOSH, I had no idea. It is no wonder many of my sps frags, even when high in the water, were browning or dieing.

I can not wait to see he lights come on this morning... The Easter Bunny was good to me last night...WOW!

You may want to use some layers of fiberglass window screening for a few days to give the corals a chance to acclimate.

A happy upgrade -- the best kind!
