I've been away for a while, and have just started reading again and I am noticing LED's are become more previlant amongst aquarists. So what I am asking is have LED's developed to the point now where they are now comparable to MH.

My corals like them - There are alot on the market now - not cheap.

I would not say they are prevalent, the vast majority of us still use Halides or T5, but they are gaining ground and not all LED's are created equal. You really need to do your homework if you want LED. It is still in it's infancy but every month that goes by the technology increases, and the price will come down. It is the future of lighting in the hobby.
