lighting

There are the Tek Elites which have fans.

Personally, if I wanted a straight T5 setup, I'd go ATI and suspend the lights or retro into a canopy. Good reflectors go a long way, and ATI have a long history of really good reflectors. I went with the Tek originally because I was cheap (planted FW days lol). Tek is sitting in the garage now :-D

If you are wanting to look swr has them almost exactly the same as online..$2 difference on 4 bulb , and like $9 on six bulb setup..I just called them yesterday to get a quote..(36" fixture)

yea i called em yesterday as well spoke to chris and looking at 560 bucks for a setup without the lunar LEDs i so want to keep those

well sorta i want the 48" six bulb but buying a family car takes precedence as mine is broken and if the deal goes through today then i may end up being short for a few weeks but add some paydays i may get that light

so quick update i went with the light mentioned above we will see how it does but i bet anything new and with six bulbs will be ten times better then what i currently have lol. oh also bought the wife a car for valentines day woohoo i get a big thank you from her i bet.

+1 on the aquatic life t5 setup w/built in digital timers..I am looking at this fixture really hard..On my list it says it comes with bulbs did yours?

Consider the bulbs in the purchase. Included bulbs is great if you like the bulbs it comes with. If not, it's excess expense. I love my ATIs. Hatted my UVLs. If I got a new fixture and it came with UVLs, I'd consider it a sunk cost and then order new bulbs and tack that on to the real price.

better then what i got in bulbs, but i really want to try the ATI +'s so in six months when i save another or have the money i will get

okay update on the new light. loving the six bulb feature with built in timer. timer is easy to use and read. digging the 24 hour format makes it simple and quick to set. bad thing no writings on it to determine which bulb goes in which hole. or i missed it in my excited 'its here' behavior and setup. of course when i get the replacement bulbs in i will set it up right. two actinics were broken upon arrival company is sending new ones fast and free. great customer service so far. it appears with my timing schedule the last two bulbs dont come on until the full set is on during my cycle program. unknown why will probably mess with that when i switch the new bulbs in for the old and set it the actual timer of day with actinic.
