Lights been out a couple days, how long can it go?

I think my radion needs to have its fan replaced and keeps turning itself off. It's been like that for two days and I'm guessing I'll need to send it in for repair(out of warranty).

Only thing I really care about is some bubble tips how long u think they can go without any light? I'm guessing it would be atleast a week turn around if not more.

I would try to get some supplemental light on them. Even a 6500K light from home depot will give them some much needed PAR. It does not have to be pretty, just a little something. Once you get the Radion back, you will want to do an acclimation period.

I just sent a radion back for repair in August, total turn around was about 2 weeks from the time I shipped to the time I got the new unit.

Have you tried calling faois I have first hand brought in my mp40 and the helped me fix it maybe they might have a solution or maybe a part its worth a call....

I have a 2 bulb T5 I'd be happy to loan you. Yea FAOIS does have a whole lotta Radion parts right at the store, I'd give them a call.


Edit: Just saw you were in Winter Haven, kind of a drive!

Also since you don't appear to be local, FAOIS stands for Fish and Other Icthy Stuff a great LFS in Oldsmar, FL. Again kind of far for you but worth the trip.

Thanks guys. Yea faois is a drive for me. Ecotech Customer service is actually sending me a fan replacement kit.

They should be fine honestly. They aren't going to be thrilled about not having lights but I'm sure they'll survive. I had SPS go 12 days without light and they made it.

if you want to make the drive I have a metal halide and t5 fixture you can borrow
