Lights off for 3 days every couple months, how are mantis shrimp affected?

Before, when I was just running just a reef tank, I took some advice from another thread and was turning the lights off for three days or so every couple months to combat algae and give it that new tank look......but would it work for a mantis tank? How would my peacock be affected?

They will not be bothered by it at all.

Ya man go for it!!!! The Mantis will be fine. Could you please let us know how it does for the algae control??

They already have a thread on this in the Reef Discussion forum........it has worked out great for me in the past........it kinda renews everything, makes the sandbed look nice and white again.
