It's probably still a bristle worm, they come in many shapes and sizes.

Just watch the decorator crab, sometimes they can get a little carried away with what they pluck and try to attach to themselves.

I went on a search and destroy mission today for that worm thingy - caught him under the same rock I saw him under last night. Here's a picture of him, so maybe now you can ID him?

I'm still not sure he's a bristle worm - maybe a harmless sea worm of some other species. Does anyone recognize him? (If so, please come and take him home, so I can get his face off the milk carton!):D
