Kent says to use 1/8 - 1/4 teaspoon per gallon

Test your Ca/Alk/Mg levels before dosing anything. You may not even need to be adding kalk if your parms are ok.

thanks Randy that's a big help.

This morning I tested my Ca2 and KH and things are getting better.

Ca2 is at 420
KH is at 8

I should be at 450 and 9 correct?

I also added the Ca2 and forgot to wait a few minutes before adding the KH and got a white cloud. Do you think I hurt the tank or anything. It went down to my Duncan which is see is now sprouting new heads :bounce1:

Your current numbers are just fine. Higher is not better.

I wouldn't worry about the cloud.
